Most appointments with your provider are better conducted in person, in an ACPNY office. But, in some cases, appointments may be conducted via a video visit, during which your provider will be able to assess your symptoms, make a diagnosis, recommend treatment, and send prescriptions to your pharmacy.
A video visit is an appointment conducted online, allowing you to talk face-to-face with your provider through your mobile device, tablet, or computer. For video visits, it’s important to find a location that is private and free of distraction, so that details about your health cannot be overheard and you can have a focused conversation with your provider. If you choose a video visit, you must be physically present in New York State at the time of the visit.
How to Schedule a Video Visit
If you feel that you need a video visit rather than an in-office visit, please contact the Call Center at 646-680-4227 to help you schedule with an ACPNY provider who offers video visits.
A myACPNY patient portal account is required to conduct a video visit. If you don’t have a myACPNY patient portal account, click here to register before attempting to schedule a video visit.
